“All good men and women must take responsibility to create legacies that will take the next generation to a level we could only imagine.” – Jim Rohn

When one person’s core values, efforts, knowledge, and passion can be passed on to another, that’s a true legacy.

It’s in this context that we announce the retirement of one of our community’s business leaders in Crossville, TN. The torch has been passed on to a new group that carries forward the core values and passion that was practiced by this man for over 20 years.

Mike Brown, a financial advisor, has served his clients and his community, and now seeks to retire for more leisure activities. This transition has been a long organized process that started months ago. The trust that comes from a client-advisor relationship is not one that happens overnight. Mike’s family of clients needed to feel this change was going to be beneficial, he chose the right team for the job.

The new team at Slate, Disharoon, Parrish & Associates will continue his good work in the communities they serve. They bring with them a legacy of their own. Having served clients in the Knoxville area for over 40 years, this expansion to Cumberland County is a welcomed milestone. Their combined experience and individual talents give them an edge when it comes to creating a healthy financial plan.

Slate, Disharoon, Parrish & Associates represent clients from the substantial family heirs to local craftsman and service industries. Their core values are focused on helping people manage their money and retirement as fiduciaries and not salespeople.

With prudence, team spirit, passion, and know how, this legacy continues to grow in Cumberland County.

Carry your name on hearts, not tombstones. A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you.
